Installation: All our lights with the exception of Valencia are safe low voltage. You just need a mains socket in a shed, the garage or the garden. The cable can be run round the garden. If it is accidentally cut it is not dangerous as it is the safe low voltage of 12v.

Transformers and connectors can be safely installed outside, they do not need extra protection against rain or condensation. The only exception is the Draper post light set.

Connection is easy, as described on page 5 and illustrated below.

Push the two cables in the bottom of the cable connector...

Click the upper side of the connector on the bottom and you have made the connection!

Cable does not need to be buried, but may be covered with woodbark or mulch to hide it from view. The maximum length of SPT1 cable is 25 metres from the transformer. The thicker SPT3 cable may be used up to 45 metres from the transformer. If the cable is too long then the end light(s) may not illuminate.
